The Hills Episode 3 Recap - Will Audrina Be Able To Let Justin Bobby Go?

Sooo, this was supposed to be Audrina’s episode with things between her and Justin Bobby getting serious or Not. Lauren starts off with a good quote, “Go with your heart but use your head.” Lauren meets Audrina and Justin Bobby for drinks and let’s just say Lauren is not a Justin Bobby fan. I think it is also safe to say that I am not a fan of the name Justin Bobby. NEway, Justin Bobby could care less and he does what he wants which comes off as rude. Another statement of the night… Audrina asks Lauren if she thinks Justin Bobby is a good guy… Lauren responds, “It takes more than a couple drinks to tell.” Lauren looks like she’s over it.

More Spencer and Heidi drama as their apartment starts looking more like his bachelor pad than anything else. He is so used to running Heidi, I’m sure he thinks nothing of it. Looks like another big fight is coming up for them and maybe Spencer will cheat on her again. That would get some good ratings even though it sucks for Heidi. In the beginning of the episode Heidi shows off her big faux diamond engagement ring to her co-worker and we get a little more details into their engagement. Towards the end of the episode Spencer calls all of the things he gets for the apartment “surprises.” These 2 should probably not get married anytime soon and what’s the big rush anyway?
Audrina and Lauren have a little talk about Justin Bobbiy. Audrina seems to know he is no good for her, but he’s a bad boy so you know how that goes… Lo makes another appearance which is great. Lo is always awesome.

Heidi had her own little surprise for Spencer by painting over the mural. He was PO’ed, but who cares. The look on his face was priceless. I have a feeling this is not the last we are going to see about this wall knowing Spencer.

Lo is back for The Hills Seson 3. Lo joined Lauren, Audrina and Whitney in Las Vegas to help Brody Jenner celebrate his brithday for the second time this month. Brody’s first birthday party was in Miami a few weeks ago. You may have seen the photo of Brody dousing himself with champagne. NEway, it’s good to see Lo back and it’s also good that Heidi and Spencer did not perform “Body Language” again in Vegas. LC and Lo look cute in the DJ booth and the party looked fun. We will all be seeing the party in furture episodes of The Hills Season 3.

You Know What You Did and Big Girls Don’t Cry The Hills Recap

Okay, so the season premiere of The Hills was pretty drama filled and here’s a recap of what went down.

Heidi debuted her new-and-improved self in this episode. She’s sporting a larger, but tastefully so, chest and a different nose. I thought she was pretty attractive before but it’s her body and she’s allowed to do whatever she wants with it. That being said, why waste it on Spencer? I will admit from now and until the end of time that I’m a Spencer-hater. Why you ask? Let me count the ways.

1. He’s a liar. I liked Heidi last season and I was really upset for her when she found out he was cheating. He was confronted about it and lied. It’s Heidi’s prerogative to forgive and forget but she can’t be surprised if it happens again.

2. He can’t stand Lauren and constantly tries to turn Heidi against her. Mission accomplished, I guess. Just because someone doesn’t like you (with good reason) doesn’t mean you should turn his or her friends against them. Grow up Spencer.

Now, much to my amazement, I felt a tiny spark of something when he proposed to Heidi. Everyone deserves to be happy. If Spencer thinks Heidi’s the woman for him ( at 23!) more power to him. Brody had it right though when he accused Spencer of losing his mind. And that ring. It was pretty but I’d say it’s also a bit gaudy, just like Spencer.

Audrina has a new man in her life. Let’s call him Justin Bobby. His whole reaction to Lauren and Lo (I’m so glad she’s back in Lauren’s life) was strange. Did they honestly hurt his feelings when they asked him about his name? If he can’t take that kind of light, harmless joking, he might not have much of a sense of humor. As Audrina said, she and Lauren “like the bad boys.” I’m sorry, but he might be a little more than that. He abandoned her in Vegas. In Whitney’s words (in referring to something else but I feel it’s still appropriate here), “WTF?”

And that brings us to Lauren. I’ve liked her since her days in Laguna Beach. She just seems like the sort of caring, thoughtful friend you’ve always wanted. Despite that she manages to get herself into a lot of drama. Maybe it’s because she states her opinions so strongly and is hesitant to forgive people who’ve hurt her friends. I don’t know what it is but she seems like a good person and in my opinion Heidi’s behavior towards her has been and continues to be reprehensible.

Now, if you’re not the target demographic and/or don’t have your finger on the pulse of the young, hip, and hot club kids you’d never know you’re missing out on places like Les Deux and 40 Deuce. Man up and get your sorry butts out there. And I don’t want to hear you’ve ducked out at 10 pm; the party doesn’t really get started until later.

—Who doesn’t know about those crazy rumors?
—What do you think about Heidi’s attitude towards Lauren?
—Since when is Lauren “all about second chances?”
—Who else wants a “Little Miss Bossy” t-shirt?
—Do you think Audrina and Justin Bobby will last?
—Do you think Spencer’s really in love with Heidi?
—Besides Heidi and Jason what other friend did Lauren lose last year?
—I know the difference between “making out” and “hooking up,” but do you?
